Dr. Ed Taylor is a 1971 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He is a Fellow and Past-President of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, he is a Board Certified Specialist in canine and feline medicine.

He became interested in veterinary dentistry and began performing advanced dental procedures in the mid-70s. In 1989, he established a referral practice for veterinary dentistry in the Atlanta metropolitan area and limited his practice to veterinary dentistry. After being drawn to the beauty and peace of central Virginia, he established the referral service, Virginia Veterinary Dentistry, with the desire to be a resource for area pet owners and veterinarians and to continue to practice his passion: veterinary dentistry.
